California’s Central Valley overflows with agriculture of all kinds. From nut orchards to fields of tomatoes, beans and veggies, abundance is all around us. As the weather begins to warm the valley in the early spring, the nut and fruit trees begin to come alive. Blossoms are everywhere, heralding the awakening abundance of the Valley. It is truly a magickal time of year.
We can begin awakening abundance of our own by adding some Blossom Magick to our magickal repertoire.
To perform your own spell for awakening abundance you will need:
- 13 newly opened blossoms – (I have used Almond, Flowering Pear and Flowering Plum in the example but use what is native to your area)
- A clear bowl
- Filtered or spring water
First, fill your bowl with the spring water. Begin gently placing the blossoms on the water, allowing them to float freely. As you place the blossoms onto the surface, name each blossom for a type of abundance you wish to make manifest. It could be an abundance of money, creativity, good health – whatever you desire.
Place your hands over the bowl and begin visualizing the blossoms changing from blossom to leaf to fruit (or nut). See them awakening, blooming, transitioning to the abundance of leaf, nut and fruit.
Keep visualizing this as you repeat the following chant 9 times:
“As the blossom becomes the leaf, as the blossom becomes the fruit, so shall my abundance awaken and grow.”
Now visualize the blossoms having changed to their abundant state, fully ripe and ready to pick. These ripened fruits are your abundance made manifest. Hold that visualization as long as you possibly can. When done say:
“As these blossoms have grown and ripened, so has my abundance. All that I desire has awakened and is ready to harvest. So Mote it Be.”
Remove the blossoms from the water and place the water into a jar with a tight seal. You can then use this water anytime you need a little extra abundance to come your way.
