Having issues drawing money to you? Need a few more dollars in your bank account? In this week’s Magickal Moment we will learn how to create your own Money Drawing Talismans.
According to the Free Dictionary a talisman is: 1. An object marked with magic signs and believed to confer on its bearer supernatural powers or protection.2. Something that apparently has magic power. Our money drawing talismans shall be created in order to : 1) Increase prosperity; 2)draw much needed funds towards us and; 3) Increase our wealth in all areas.
Please note: As in all magick, there are no guarantees. Intention, focus and will are required in order to garner results. The author takes no responsibility as to the efficacy of, or the degree of results produced by these talismans.
To create our talismans you will need the following supplies:
- Clay: The talisman shown was created with air dry clay. You may use any type of clay you like.
- 1 teaspoon of each of the following ground herbs: Allspice, Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg
- A small spray bottle filled with water; or a bowl with water
- A toothpick or other small, pointed object to inscribe on the wet clay.
- A small biscuit cutter or sharp knife to cut clay into discs
- A plastic plate to place your clay on. (optional)
Creating Your Money Drawing Talismans
Directions: Place your clay onto a flat surface. I prefer to place mine onto a large plastic plate as it makes moving the clay on and off easier.
Mix all of your ground herbs together and set aside. Take a hunk of clay large enough to create the number of talismans you wish to make. Form the clay into a hollow basin then place the herbs into the center.
Begin mixing the herbs into the clay with your hands. The herbs will dry out the clay so you will need to spray it with water or dip your fingers into a bowl of water and sprinkle the clay. Keep mixing the clay until the herbs are completely incorporated. As you are mixing in the herbs, envision them activating the clay with money drawing powers.
When the herbs have been completely incorporated, begin rolling out and flattening the clay to create disks. I do this by hand but feel free to use a marble or stone rolling pin that has been sprinkled with water (to keep the clay from sticking). I flattened mine out to a 1/2 inch thickness because I am going to use them in mojo bags and as a necklace. Make them thinner or thicker according to your needs.
Next, cut your clay into disks. I used a small biscuit cutter but a sharp knife, cookie cutter or clay tool will work as well. Mine are about 1 inch in circumference but again, make them into the size needed for your particular application.
Inscribing Your Talismans
Once the disks have been cut, carefully remove the remaining clay from around the disks. Set aside to use later. Remove the disk(s) from the table or plate. If they are stuck, use a piece of thread or fishing line and carefully run it between the disk and plate or table. Don’t worry if they come off a little lop-sided or squished. Just use a bit of water on your fingertips to smooth out and reshape your disk.
Place your disk(s) back onto the plate or table. Using the toothpick or another sharp instrument, inscribe your talisman with a money drawing or prosperity symbol. The symbol I used was the dollar sign because it automatically makes me think of money. Feel free to use any symbol which does the same for you. Note: If you are using the disks for a necklace, poke a hole near the top that is large enough to run a cord or chain through.
After inscribing the disks, you will need to activate the talismans. To do so hold your hands over the talismans. Picture clearly in your mind’s eye large sums of money been drawn towards you. Visualize images of whatever prosperity and wealth means to you, seeing it clearly and vividly. Keep that image in your mind for as long as possible. Now push that image and the feeling of wealth, prosperity and monetary gain, through your hands and into the talismans. Continue pushing the energy into the talismans until you feel that they have been filled to the brim. Release the energy by clapping your hands or saying “It is done.”
Using Your Talismans
Now that the talismans have been activated, you will need to let them dry completely before using. Optionally, give them a spray with a clear sealer to help keep any moisture out.
Use your talismans by:
- Wearing them as a piece of sacred jewelry, drawing money to you as you wear it.
- Adding to a mojo or charm bag. Carry the bag in your pocket or tie it to a cord to wear around your neck.
- Placing the disk on your altar where you can see it everyday, triggering thoughts of wealth and prosperity.
- Put the disk into your cash register or cash drawer at your place of business to increase cash flow.
- Hanging the talisman in a window or tack it over your front door.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Magickal Moment. May your talismans be potent, powerful and create the prosperity you desire.
Blessed Be!
